Cathy Russell


Cathy’s involvement at TOSAC began in the early 90’s when she played the lead role of Annie Sullivan in the production of The Miracle Worker, she has also participated as Assistant Director of Steel Magnolias, and Director Anne of Green Gables. Cathy has served on TOSAC’s Board of Directors since 2015 and most recently was elected President. In the past Cathy has written and directed many church skits as well as having been a director of a deaf drama team, Fragrance of Life, and a member of a traveling drama team, The End Time Harvesters. She is currently Administrative Assistant at Trinity Anglican Church in Thomasville and is the mother of 5 beautiful daughters, mother-in-law of one wonderful son and Grammy to one precious granddaughter. In her off-time Cathy enjoys being with her family, traveling, playing guitar, painting, and photography.


June Dollar

June Dollar has lived her life in music and music theatre for the past 2 years, working as musical director and coach/accompanist. She music directed Man of La Mancha with the Arlington Players and a love affair with music theatre has blazed hot ever since.  Her favorite roles on stage include Georgie in The Full Monty, Jacqueline in La Cage Aux Folles, Heidi in Follies and Chick in Crimes of the Heart.  June’s dream role is to play Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.  June came to Thomasville after working as the production manager for the opera at the Florida State College of Music and the FSU Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training.  Currently she teach yoga and spends her days working in the Humanities department at Thomas University.


Karen Farmer


Karen Farmer was born & raised in Faith, North Carolina.  She has a BS in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University.  She taught elementary school in NC, Thomas County and Thomasville City Schools.  Karen has always loved the excitement of live theater.  The last few years she has enjoyed working with TOSAC as a volunteer and Board Member.  It’s fascinating to see what goes into the productions way before the lights begin to shine on the stage.  Karen absolutely adores her husband, Keith and their collective “million children”, Sarah, Anna, Kaleb and Kaitlyn.

Lisa Mitchell is beginning her thirteenth year at Thomas University as an Assistant Professor of Speech & Theatre. She has directed numerous one-act productions at TU: Love Letters, “The Fifteen-Minute Hamlet,” A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, “Everyman in the Circus of Life,” The Iliad, The Odyssey, and Greek Mythology. Some of her favorite acting experiences include The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Betty) at TOSAC, as well as shows in Tallahassee and Quincy: Merrily We Roll Along (Mary Flynn), Pippin (Fastrada), Anyone Can Whistle (Fay Apple), Into The Woods (The Baker’s Wife), and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Miss Mona). Lisa enjoys singing with the TU Jazz Ensemble, in many ACTU events, and her church choir. 


Grady Enlow

Grady is originally from Orlando, but spent most of his adult life in Tallahassee, FL, prior to moving to Thomasville a couple of years ago.  In Tallahassee, his association with Theatre Tallahassee and New Stage Theatre Works included many roles both on-stage and back-stage.  In Thomasville, Grady performed Love Letters with Thomas University, and was recently cast in TOSAC’s production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.  For his day job, Grady serves as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Thomas University, and is as passionate about education as he is the arts!  He’s excited to be serving our community in this capacity on the TOSAC board.

Pat Orr was born in Cairo, Georgia. She Graduated from Valdosta State College with a B.S., from Georgia State University with an M. S, and Nova University with a Reading Specialist Degree. She taught school in grades 1-8 for forty years and taught drama all of those years and for the last ten years of retirement. She has directed for schools, churches, and community theaters.  Her favorite venue has been TOSAC and her favorite show is The Sound of Music.  She considers the best of times as those when the lights come up on another production with another group of young people.
